Oh, Windows Vista...

Me and Word 2007 had an argument last night.  See, it insisted that for my name and information it was using single space, yet I was weary and was pretty sure it was using double space.  For the paper itself it said it was using double space, see, and the paper and the information looked identical in spacing.  I really like the 2007 version, but NONE of the buttons of 2003 are were they are in 2007, and I'm just about to pull my hair out.

I have a bruise :(  Well, more than that, but I'll get to that later.  Jenny and I went to donate blood yesterday and I guess my vein wasn't working nicely and so she like... man, mutilated it o_O  She kept wiggling the needle and now i have this huge bruise that's like thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis big in diameter.  Jenny kinda pissed me off though 'cause like, she makes fun of people for the stupidest things, and it's actually really childish, so like, she almost fainted and I was all supportive in stuff (she would have made fun of me the whole time, that's just how she is I've come to realise), and later that night she was making fun of me again!  It's like... geesh, grow up, honestly.  So in niceness I kind of told her to stfu and I think she got the message since she hasn't talked to me since.  I would say sorry, but I actually kind of like the quietness *shifty*

I nearly got mauled over by this little old lady today.  And when I say mauled over I mean she really didn't have a whole lot to do with it.  Just me and my need to wake up five minutes before class starts.  So she and her husband were walking pretty slow, and so I stepped onto the grass them since naturally they were taking up the whole sidewalk.  I was going to step back onto the sidewalk when it crossed, but she decided to turn that way too and so in my haste to get their first, my freaking shoe caught the edge of the sidewalk and I hopped about five freaking times to try to keep my balance.  Of couse that wouldn't have happened and now I have a nice hole in my jeans and a scratched up knee.  My Philosophy professor laughed pretty good and made all sorts of funny jokes about it that made me feel better (they were really horrid but he tries so hard XDDD)

Midterms midterms midterms, aaaaahhhhh!!!!!  Math test today, god only knows what Sr. Justino has planned for spanish (omg, so on monday we went to a personal's site to work on our adjectives, but like we had to create an account first, so we spent the rest of the time where we SHOULD have been practising making up a really funny alter ego XD I love that man), choir is canceled, and world music... -_-  I hate that man.

I finally ran into Brian after my little hookie game on monday but I dont think he remembers.  Or he does and doesn't care, that seems more like Brian.  Anyhow, I got roped into working like all friday, and whereas YAY MONEY, boo because it's going to be SO damn slow.

Estoy enfermia

Doesn't my spanish rawk?  I pretty muched pwnd that test.  He said we had fourty five minutes, I was done in fifteen, he said I had twenty minutes to walk around.  So what did I do?  Ran over to the caf with Jake XD  It's only tbe building across from OEC and we did have 20 minutes... so we can back with cookies and Senor Justino was like "Where the hell did you get those?  And why dont I have one?" and we were like... the caf... *shifty*  Then he laughed and said we couldn't have possibly gone over there, eaten, and gotten back in 20.  He underestimates hungry people.  if I get anything less than an A on that text I shall be VERY disappointed.

UPSET.  2 more weeks.  That little @$#%er lied to me.  He said 10 - 14 days.  Lady on the phone today said 3 to 4 weeks.  So here I am on south campus, sitting at a picnic table, missing class, crying my eyes out to Lux because I'm cold, sick, and still dont have a computer.  Then she started laughing 'cause this huge ass wasp landed on my bag and I was like "And I want my computer woah there's a bug on my bag."  It was dead too, so I was like, ftw.  Just HAPPENED to land on my bag, out of everywhere else it could have landed.

And, um, no, Sarah, you're wrong.  N64 all the way.  You cannot beat a team like Goldeneye and Mario Kart 64.  NOT POSSIBLE, YOU HEAR ME?  I will admit that SNES had a few nice games (SM3 anyone???) but I think I liked the reguar NES better.  I remember one night when I was younger, my mom was cleaning the floors with bleach, since they were tile, and I was playing the first super mario brothers with her while she waited for the tiles to dry, and I swear I peed my pants I was laughing so hard.  I dont even remember ... wait!  Yes I do!  You know when you jump up and hit that little POW thing and everything jumps?  She kept on effing doing that and I thought it was hilarious XD I was like six at the time too, so that might have been it, but omg.... Oh, and the Goonies, cant forget that one.  The second game, though.  The first one was la-ame.  D:

I think I'll play sonic tomorrow.  When i'm not playing quid.  What a wonderful weekend for this no computer thing to fall on, eh?  I have to drive Ken home on saturday night too from work in that damn van.  Not very excited about that.

My new favourite french word : myop.  Means nearsided.  Or farsided, I forget which XD  I got all my transcips and crap in now too, so I'm just waiting for my letter of aaaaaaaceptance.  Then bye-bye St. Thomas.  I mean, it's another four years of college, sure, but when I'm down in the Caribbean being warm and playing in the ocean and you're all freezing up here (or wtf ever you guys do in Florida), I'm just gonna laaaaaaaugh.

<3  Orange for the bottle of orange juice I'm downing.  it makes my nose feel better.

Golly gee, fellas, find me a vacant knee, fellas

I hate that woman.  I love that movie, but oh, do I hate that woman.

So I'm officially having the worst week ever.  Four tests and a paper, whoooo.  Well, its more like two quizes and two tests, but hey, who's counting.  One test tonight still, one test tomorrow, paper on friday, and then I'm going hoooome.  Until Sat. night, then there's really no point of me being anymore.

I sat on the phone yesterday for 50 minutes and not a soul I talked to was able to tell me where my computer was.  Wonderful...

I talked to Jazzie and she told me I have a sinus infection, which makes SO MUCH SENSE I lawled pretty hard for a while and she thought I lost it.  So tomorrow I'll be giong to the clinic to have them drug me up.  Not so yay for the whole 'wtf's going on?' thing, but it would be nice if my eyes stopped watering constantly.  Getting slightly annoying.

I called Mike Logan today, and he gave me this look that told me I probably shouldn't do it again.  I keep telling him that they look VERY similar to eachother, but he still looked kinda hurt.  Ugh, he's such a girl sometimes XD  But I love him anyway.  If I come back early enough on Saturday (and by early I mean like one AM., those guys are ALWAYS up) he said he'd teach me how to play Halo 3.  I told him I wasn't really good at first person shooters (Except for friggin Goldeneye.  Hell yes, I want a N64 for christmas, plz!) but I suppose I'll try 'cause he said he was going to have Justin make hot cocoa, and WOAH that boy makes good effing cocoa.  I swear to god he puts rum in it or something, but whatever, it still tastes nummy.

Sunday Kacie and I are goign to walk down to Half Price Books (unless it's too cold, then I told her I was going to wimp out) and buy so many books it was going to hurt to carry them all back.  We're both kind of sick of the ones we own, and I've read all hers so much and she's read all mine, so yeah.  Then we're going to have a Colin Firth/Hugh Grant marathon and watch Love Actually, and the two Bridget Jones movies.  Good times.

I think the best part about the week so far is that my fort is pretty cool.  I got some wire shelves and a clip on lamp and well as some stuff to hang around and a curtain to block out the light, so all I really need is my computer and wireless headphones and my mini theater will be complete!  Mwahaha.

Sarah, wtf aren't you on when I'm in a building that has reception?  I think you hate me </3  I think you were on during math today, but I left early anyway, so I didn't need to bug you.  STILL, *feels ignored*

a case of the mondays

BRIGHT @*^#ING YELLOW.  THIS REPRESENTS MY ATTITUDE CURRENTLY.  ANNOYING/ANNOYED.

SO, I was supposed to get it back tomorrow, right?!  RIGHT?!  Well no, some guy calls me today and is like "Uh, your hard drive's fried."  Um, how can it be effing fried?  it wasn't when I SENT IT TO YOU.  So they were like, you have two options.  We wait for the new hard drive to come in, which will take about two weeks, and than have them repair it which might take 5-7 BUISNESS DAYS, just not days in general, OR, they send me a new one that wont take that long to get here.  And duh I went with the new one, because there was something funky stuck in my speakers and it was pissing me off that I couldn't get it out and I'm just anal like that.  It has to look nice, right?  So, they're upgrading it and crap like that, and I'm getting Vista and more memory, more ram, and whatever...

... but really, I just want my computer back  :(

New predicted arrival date : October 14th.  *sigh*  I'm gonna go cry to Kacie.

Grey Street

Rolfcakes.  The day I pray for that woman is a cold cold day in hell.  Thanks, but no thanks.

Sarah : I bet you COULD play it on your computer, but the modes of which would be highly illegal and probably too much of a hassle.  Then again, spending 600 dollars on a new game system is too much of a hassle too (for me, at least, with my piddly 20 hours per two weeks).  You can actually see where we had the slip 'n slides now out in the quad since I think we killed the grass under them XD  And no, I have horrible luck with cell phones.  I thought it was okay but now it seems to not want to accept calls, so I got this long voicemail the other day from my mom yelling at me about how I dont answer her.  Whoops.

It is FREAKING cold.  I love how it can go from like 80 to 60 in two days.  It might even be below sixty, I have no idea.  I'm almost afraid to check.  I really would be okay with the weather except it looks like it wants to rain and I dont exactly FEEL like walking to, from, to and back again from south campus today, kthnx.  Especially if it's raining.  I'm really begining to hate my World Music class.  It's so... pointless.  But whatever, I get my fine arts credit and humanities credit done in one class, so.. I'll live.

I think my spanish professor is getting the idea that I'm a bit too smart for his class.  I barely paid attention yesterday, and he ALWAYS calls on those ones first, so either he hates me (which I dont think he does) or he's sick of me getting crap right and wants to get those who aren't doing so well.  Which is fine with me.  I forgot how much freaking talking there was in a begining (well, not so begining) class.  I hate it. XD  It always seems like it's the adults who cant quite grasp the whole pronunciation thing, and although I try to help out when I can, this woman keeps on saying "sil-lah" istead of 'see-yah"  I mean, its just not that of course, but that's the newest word and I find it bugs me the most.

So, I had a test in math yesterday.  HAD I KNOWN that we were having said test, I would have been paying attnetion to what he was doing on the board (I thought he was going over homework >__<) and not drawing in my notebook.  Whoops.

I saw a corel (or however you spell it) plate shatter into a million pieces the other day.  It was probably the highlight of my week.  You'd think that maybe it'd crack or break into a few pieces, but nooo, I'm betting there was probably 1,000+ pieces on the ground.  It was pretty cool.  At first I thought that maybe it was food or something like rice, but then I stepped on one and it was hard and I looked at it again.  I hope Larry is now rethinking getting the new plates.  If not because they break like that (and supposibly easier than they should) then because they're effing heavy.

It's 55 degrees, btw.  And I'm hungry.  I believe a herb wrap is calling my name...
